Lodge Salutation No. 7

Lodge Salutation No 7 in the Province of Nottingham was Constituted, Consecrated and Warranted on 24th June 2007 in the Grand Temple, Royal National Hotel, Bedford Way, London.

The Lodge was named after a famous landmark - The Salutation Inn. The original inn sign depicted a handshake, a welcome sign to the weary traveller. It is also near Nottingham Castle and its connections to the stonemasons who would have been very involved in its building.

The motto of the Lodge is ‘Semper Fidelis Semper Sodalitas’ meaning Ever faithful and ever fraternal’ characterising the friendship that is a principle of the Lodge. Its meaning is also reflected in the Masonic principles of Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth.

The Lodge meets eight times a year on the first Saturday in the months of February, March, May, June, July September, October and the last Saturday in November.

We have a meal after every meeting and a social event twice a year, after the Installation in June and at Christmas.

New members are always welcome.
